Description
The SmartGen HGM6120CAN‑4G is a highly capable AMF (Auto Mains Failure) controller designed for single-unit generator sets that require remote monitoring over 4G. It supports automatic switching, real-time data transmission, and full control via CAN-bus (J1939) for engine ECU integration.
Equipped with a backlit 132 × 64 LCD screen and a rugged silicone keypad, this controller supports scheduled start/stop, maintenance timers, and event logging for detailed system management. It features 5 digital inputs, 3 analog inputs for engine sensors (oil pressure, temperature, fuel level), and 4 relay outputs for start, stop, ATS switching, idle control, and alarms.
Communication is supported through 4G, CAN-bus, and RS-485 interfaces—making it perfect for remote sites and modern engines. All configuration parameters are stored in non-volatile memory, preserving settings through power interruptions. The device has a wide DC input range (8–35 V) and operates reliably in demanding environments from –25 °C to +70 °C.
