Description
The SmartGen HGM6120N‑4G is a powerful AMF controller with built‑in 4G connectivity, designed for generator systems that require automatic switching between mains and generator power with remote cloud monitoring. It supports automatic start/stop, real-time data measurement, and remote communication. Via its 4G module, it uploads generator status, alarm events, and operational data to the SmartGen cloud, allowing for remote monitoring through a mobile app or PC.
The controller features a backlit 132 × 64 LCD display with multilingual interface and a durable silicone keypad for easy operation. It provides five digital inputs, three analog inputs, and four relay outputs to manage functions like ATS control, pre‑heat, and idle speed. The unit accurately measures both mains and generator parameters, including voltage, current, frequency, and power, enabling robust protection against over/under-voltage, phase loss, over-current, and other common fault conditions.
Powered by a wide DC range (8‑35 V), the HGM6120N‑4G is compatible with typical generator battery systems. It includes a real-time clock, event logging, maintenance timer, and scheduled start capability. All configuration settings can be adjusted from the front panel, via USB, or remotely over the network. The controller is built in a rugged ABS case with IP‑rated sealing, and is built to operate reliably across –25 °C to +70 °C.
